Introduction   |   About The Project   |   Chazz & Holly's Comments   |   Update: Dec 2004

I met Chazz Weaver on May 1, 2004 at Triangle Square in Costa Mesa. I read in the Orange County Register that he would be discussing his 30 day adventure at McDonald's and I thought it might be interesting to hear what he had to say.

When Eric Krondak, the host for the event, told his story - it sounded like it was also my story. After seeing his before and after pictures I was hooked. I wanted to hear how he got to this point. He looked fantastic! Chazz came out to talk and seemed so real. But, I kept waiting for the punch line. There was no punch line, just truth. When he asked if anyone had any questions, I was hesitant to speak up. I guess I was afraid of getting laughed at, but I swallowed my pride and as my eyes teared up I asked "how do you even start when you are this age, this overweight and have multiple health problems?" Chazz looked me in the eyes, smiled and said "don't worry - it can be done if you really want it bad enough. I will help you, but I won't do it for you. Please stay and I will talk to you when this is over." I stayed and we have been talking ever since.

I hope to accomplish the following things: get in good health (goodbye diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol) and get more energy.

I am so looking forward to my new journey. I am 100% committed to starting a new healthy lifestyle. Thank you Chazz! Who needs Dr. Phil!
